Lemurian Seed Crystals

Lemurian seed crystals, also referred to as “lemurian quartz” or “lemurian star seeds,” originally came (and still primarily come) from Brazil-- the Diamantina region-- and are named after Lemuria, an ancient civilization that is believed to have sunk down into the Pacific ocean (or to have suffered some similar misfortune). Many believe that these crystals were left behind by this advanced civilization for us to find, so that we may receive their teaching and guidance. The first lemurian specimens were found in 1999. Since then, they have been found in several other locations around the world, including China, India, Namibia, Madagascar, Pakistan, Nepal, Russia, Tibet, and the United States. Their structure varies. Many sport a slightly pink or smoky cast and are dow crystals. Most are wands. They exhibit clear interiors, exteriors that are frosty in appearance, and ladder-like grooves that cross over their bodies. Their crystal system is trigonal, their Moh's hardness a 7, and their vibration number a 4. They belong to the mineral class of silicates and are considered to be “master crystals” within the world of gemstones.

Lemurian seed crystals are said to have the very teachings and values of the ancient people of Lemuria programmed into them, for our benefit. They are believed to transmit messages of equality, unconditional love, and spiritual teachings, and emit gentle yin (feminine) energies.
